The exact change

Before

"Do not submit your application until every document is in hand. PMI reviewers return applications for missing documentation, and that delay is entirely preventable. Treat the preparation phase as seriously as you treat the exam study phase." -- Cornelius Fichtner, PMP, host of The PM Podcast / "The project description is where your application lives or dies. One paragraph per process group, specific numbers where possible, and active leadership verbs throughout. The reviewer is looking for evidence that you led the project, not that you supported it." -- Joseph Phillips, PMP, PMI-ACP / Reference-list entry: Fichtner, Cornelius. 'PMP Application Tips and Audit Preparation.' The PM Podcast, 2023 (no episode number).

After

Do not submit your application until every document is in hand. PMI reviewers return applications for missing documentation, and that delay is entirely preventable. Treat the preparation phase as seriously as the exam study phase. / The project description is where your application lives or dies. One paragraph per process group, specific numbers where possible, and active leadership verbs throughout. The reviewer is looking for evidence that you led the project, not that you supported it. / Removed the orphaned Fichtner reference-list entry.

Suggested change

De-attributed both quotes to plain unattributed prose preserving the underlying claims; removed the now-orphaned Fichtner podcast reference-list entry tied directly to the fabricated quote (retained the legitimate Phillips book reference, a real independently-published work) and renumbered remaining references.

Why this is better

De-attributed an unverified Cornelius Fichtner quote citing The PM Podcast with no episode number, inconsistent with a near-identical Fichtner quote in a sibling article that does cite a specific episode number (482), confirming the quotes are unverified rather than sourced. Also de-attributed an unverified Joseph Phillips quote with no verifiable source. Removed the now-orphaned Fichtner reference entry; retained the legitimate Phillips book reference, a real independently-published work.
