Four things that are true of every review

Who sets the feeThe reviewer.

Each reviewer sets one fee for everyone, shown on their card. It is frozen the moment they accept your paper, so it stays fixed once work starts.

Paid for whatA completed review.

Payment is released when the report is delivered, and it is the same whether the review is glowing or critical. Every verdict is independent of payment.

Who sees the reviewOnly you.

The report goes to the author who commissioned it. The reviewer stays anonymous to the author; a journal sees their name only if the author attaches the review. The reviewer’s profile shows a count and on-time rate.

Does a journal get itOnly if you attach it.

CitePep is an independent review service. The review is advice to you before submission. You can attach it to a submission, and only that journal sees it and who wrote it.
