AWS Specialty Certifications Ranked: Which Ones Are Worth Pursuing
AWS specialty certifications ranked: An honest ranking of AWS's six specialty certifications by career impact, market demand, and who should actually pursue.
What was corrected
"The ANS-C01 is the certification that separates candidates who've read about AWS networking from those who've designed it..." -- A Cloud Guru, ANS-C01 course instructor notes / 'Frank Kane... specifically warns: "If you don't already have a machine learning background, don't start with this certification..."' / 'Every specialty exam: 65 questions, 170 minutes, ~750/1000 passing score, $300.'
The ANS-C01 is the certification that separates candidates who have read about AWS networking from those who have designed it (unattributed prose, brand-as-person framing removed). / Frank Kane, a well-known MLS-C01 instructor, has generally cautioned that candidates without an ML background should study fundamentals first (de-attributed specific quote, kept substance, removed 'most popular course' superlative). / Corrected to: 'Most specialty exams: 65 questions, 170 minutes... though duration varies by exam (Machine Learning Specialty and some others run 180 minutes).'
Suggested change
De-attributed 2 fabricated quotes (A Cloud Guru brand-as-person, Frank Kane specific quote). Corrected a factual error about specialty exam duration (not all are 170 minutes; ML Specialty and others run 180).
Why this is better
'A Cloud Guru, ANS-C01 course instructor notes' attributed a quote to a company brand as if it were a named individual, an unverified framing, so it was de-attributed. Frank Kane is a real, credible instructor but the specific quote and 'most popular course' superlative were unverifiable, so de-attributed while keeping the substance. 'Every specialty exam: 170 minutes' was factually wrong; most specialty exams are 170 minutes but Machine Learning Specialty and others run 180 minutes, which also contradicted the DBS-C01 article elsewhere in this same folder. Corrected.
