What was corrected
Article misattributed a real Dell'Acqua and BCG study on AI-assisted consulting to the journal Science (the real study was a Harvard Business School working paper), described an entire 2024 Ethan Mollick PLOS ONE study that could not be verified, referenced a researcher, 'Juan Pablo Murra,' and a 2023 Journal of Marketing study that could not be verified, attributed an industry analysis to Sarah Guo that could not be verified, misstated Francesco Marconi's title at AP, included AP error-rate statistics and a 2023 HubSpot case study that could not be verified, and most notably reversed the real trajectory of the Washington Post's Heliograf system, describing it as 'substantially expanded through 2023' when it had actually been retired around that time, plus described a Jasper AI customer outcome report with statistics that could not be verified.
Rewrote the section, preserving the one clearly verifiable study (Dell'Acqua/BCG, corrected to its real venue) and the real, well-documented AP Wordsmith and Washington Post Heliograf cases, while removing studies that could not be verified. Corrected Heliograf's real trajectory (retired, not expanded) and Francesco Marconi's real title, and replaced unverifiable vendor statistics with accurately hedged general descriptions.
Why this is better
Verified against the original Dell'Acqua et al. Harvard Business School working paper, Francesco Marconi's actual documented career history, published reporting on the Washington Post's Heliograf system's actual 2023 status, and the absence of any corroborating source for the Mollick PLOS ONE study, the Juan Pablo Murra/IESE study, the Sarah Guo industry analysis, the HubSpot 2023 case study, or the Jasper customer outcome report.
